FAQs:

Q: I didn't get my registration verification email - HELP!
A: Check your spam folders! It's there! Since the email is coming from a website, a lot of spam filters automatically mark email from the site as spam, but the email was sent. You can also ask one of the site admins to resend your verification email. If you're still having trouble after that, email Bunny and she'll verify you through email manually.

Q: Before you changed to the new version, I was able to download, but now I can't. Is it my computer or the new version?
A: It's your computer. It's been reported by other users that the most common cause of this is your browser. Older versions of Internet Explorer don't work. Any version of Safari doesn't work. We recommend Flock http://www.flock.com or Firefox http://www.mozilla.com or Chrome www.google.com/chrome.

Q: What happened to the podcast? Is it coming back?
A: We ran into some technical and scheduling problems and as a result the podcast had to go on hiatus. We are planning on getting it going again, hopefully by the summer of 2010. The scheduling isn't a problem anymore, but the technical issues still have to be sorted out - they were on Bunny's schedule after the PS.net overhaul/server move, so should be happening soon now that that's done!

How Tos:

Change the Skin:
From the "HOME" page click on the link in the right hand corner that says "Customize Dashboard."
On the left you'll see two boxes one says "Themes" the other says "Blocks."
On the right you'll see pictures of various characters with names above them, these are the current themes that are available.
Select the theme you want to change to by clicking on the picture and/or the name of the theme directly above the picture.
A blue box will appear above the pictures that says "Use Theme" click that box to change to the selected theme.
In the upper right hand corner click the link that says "Close."
You will now view the website with the new skin.

How to upload an image background :

Want to use a picture for your profile background? Here's how to do it.

>Log into your account
>Once you are logged in, bring your mouse to the top menu and put it over “Profile” and click on “Customize Profile”
>A box from the top will open with all of the Sailor Moon Themes available. You can use one of the themes as well with a background picture (we'll get to that in a minute).
>On the left hand side, click on Advanced.
>Click on (though it should already be highlighted) Background
>Next to the 'Color' option there is a box with the label on top that says URL. Next to that box is a paperclip symbol, click on that paperclip.
>A box will pop up and it should have a row of options to upload an image. Click on the 'Choose File' button, find the image you want to use, double click on it, and go to the bottom of the rows and find the 'Upload Attachment(s)' button and click on it.
>Your image will go into another tab called 'Archives'. Click on the tab that says 'Browse Archives' and you should find your image right there for you.
>Click on the image name and a mini box will pop up. There will be an Add Description box, 'Use Image' and 'Delete'. You do not have to add a description. Click on the 'Use Image' link and your picture should preview on your profile automatically. Click on 'Done'.
>We are not done yet! Do not exit out of the Profile Design. Click the 'Save' button so that your image will stay on your profile when you are done.
>If you want to still add a Sailor Moon theme to your background, go back to the 'Themes' tab and pick whichever one you want and then click 'Use Theme'. Your background image will still be there along with the them you have chosen. And there you go! You have your background image!

How to add friends :

Gotta friend you want to add? No problem. Very simple.

>Log into your account
>You can use the search box on the top right hand corner of the site and type in the person's name you want to add as a friend. As soon as you find your friend, click on that person's name.
>Once you have come to your friend's page, on the right hand side there will be a list of options. “Send a Message” “Add to Friends” “Add to Favorites” “Block this User” “Invite to a Group” and “Feature” you will want to click “Add to Friends”.
>Once you click “Add to Friends” a window will pop and will say “(friend's name) will have to confirm that you are friends...” You can add a personal message if you want to, but it is not required. And just press the button “Add Friend”.
>The box will go away as soon as you press the button “Add Friend”. The request will be sent to your friend and he or she will get it when he or she logs in and responds.

Add Photos to Galleries:

1). Log into the site and move your mouse over "Images" in the menu bar and click on "Upload a New Image".
2). On this page which is labeled Photos, there are two fields: One labeled "Albums" and the other "Select Images". Do not do anything in the Albums field. Upload the photo you want to be put in the main galleries and then press upload (do not worry about the drop down menu bar).
3). After you have pressed the upload button, you will come to a page that will ask you for title, description, category, etc. For "Category", depending on who your character is, you are going to click on the character name in the category field.
>> For example: You are uploading an image of Ami and/or Sailor Mercury you are going to click on Ami / Sailor Mercury gallery.
>> Note: When adding tags to your photo, they must be the first name in Japanese in all lower case with no spaces. Such as: Sailor Mercury will be (as a tag) ami
4). After you have picked the character name in the category field (and gave it a title and description) you will then click 'save' at the bottom of the page and there you go! You have a picture uploaded in the galleries!

Changing your Forum Signature

On the Right Menu Click Settings >> Account Settings
The very bottom field says "Forum Signature:" with a large text box.
Fill that in with whatever you want your forum signature to be.
THE HARD PART. Anything besides text has to be input in BB code. So for a picture you have to put:

[img]link to picture[/img]

for a link you have to put

[link='URL goes here']text for link or [img] for link goes here[/link]

THE WORST PART. The site translates the BB code into HTML so you can't "save" over with the HTML it changes it to without losing EVERYTHING. So KEEP YOUR BB CODE somewhere so you can copy & paste it to make edits since the HTML will not work!
I recommend making your signature in a regular forum post because it will make the BB code for you if you just use the buttons for link, img, etc.
After you're satisfied with your input BB code, click the "Save" button just below the text box to update your signature. AnimeSmile1

Chatting with Your Friends

At the bottom of the site there is a bar called "PrincessSerenity.net" on the right side it says "Chat" and then there is a number like this (5) - this shows you how many of your friends are currently on the site. To start a chat with one of them, click the "Chat" a list comes up of everyone that's on, click on the person you wish to chat with and a new box to the left of the chat box shows up as your personal chat channel - it's instant messaging within the site.

Blogs and Forums

Blog - is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video.

To sum it up, a blog is where you post an event going on in your life or anything in general. You can write a review about a movie you watched, a story you read, a goal you are trying to accomplish, etc.

How to make a blog:

>Log into your account.
>Bring your cursor over the menu bar onto of the word “Connect” and click on “Blogs”
>On the right hand side, there should be three options. “View Blogs”, “View My Blogs” and “Add New Blog”, click on “Add Blog”
>Write the name of your blog in the Title box and then start writing.
>Once you are done, choose the category your blog belongs to and also include tags (Example: if you are writing a blog about a movie, simply put 'movie' as a tag). Note : Additional Options is not required unless you want to have your blog private and password protected.
>After you have given your blog a title, wrote it, chose it's category and tags you may simply hit the “Publish” button and you have a blog posted.

Note: Blogs and Forums are entirely different.

Forum – online discussion site.

Topics such as, This or That, Guess this Lyric, etc. belong on the forums where any member can reply to the topic. There are separate forum threads for each discussion (Moon Talk, Entertainment, Dear Abby, etc.).

How to make a thread in the forums:

>Log into your account.
>Bring your cursor over the menu bar onto of the word “Connect” and click on “Forum”
>There are quite q few forums to choose from to make a thread. (If you are not sure where your post goes, submit it in the “Hangout” forum it's better than spamming up the wrong forum).
>Click on “New Thread” toward he bottom (it will be right above “Display Options”)
>Give your thread a title and type it out. (You can choose to subscribe to the thread by clicking 'Yes' or 'No' when you are done).
>After you have given your thread a title and wrote it out, simply go to the bottom of the screen and click the “Submit” button and you have posted your thread.

For replying to a thread already made, all you have to do is click on the thread and at the very top (or bottom of the thread) hit “New Reply” and simply type out your reply and press the “Submit” button. OR, you can go to the very bottom of the thread and type in the Reply box and click the “Post Quick Reply” button. The difference is that with quick reply you don't have the options that the “New Reply” options has, does not matter at all how you reply.

Note: Forum topics DO NOT belong in the blogs. If you are not sure if what you want to post belongs in a blog or forum, please email the admins and ask them.
