The episode starts by Tuxedo Mask,
without his mask, telling what he knows about the Outer Scouts--Sailors
Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
The girls were surprised. They agreed
that they were trying to push them away. Darien said it would
probably be best.
Artemis was all choked up with emotion.
You would have had to seen it, it was that funny! He was blowing
his nose, crying, oh, man!
Witches 4 H.Q.
Mimet was deep in a serious game of
Twister! She was determined to win. She thought about her latest,
Shawn Hayes. Professor Tomoe stood watching through a slight
opening of the door. He seemed to be enjoying the view provided
by Mimet's game of Twister(In other words, he was looking up
her skirt). Then he interrupted the game.
He said that she must be training hard.
Since the new target was an athlete, he had created the appropriate
daimon. He gave the suitcase to Mimet, who assured him she wouldn't
fail. He gave his Twister-playing employees a stern look. "My
turn."
Hotaru's Room
She was sitting in her room writing
a letter. She was thinking about the time she was watching sports
on TV and saw Hayes set the national high-jump record. She had
a dreamy look in her eyes.
The announcer was commenting that
Hayes was very sick as a child and spent many years, but now
he was setting a world record.
Kaorinite was suddenly beside her and
started reading her letter. "Ooh, I didn't know you liked
the athletic type?" she teased. Hotaru got really steamed
and told her not to come in her room without knocking. She walked
off. Hotaru put the letter in an envelope and wrote a name on
it. "Ooh, a love letter to Shawn Hayes!" Kaorinite
was back in the room. Hotaru told her to leave and to stop acting
so weird. She said she was the one who was weird, writing a letter
and not mailing it.
Serena's House
Hotaru apologized for barging in, but
Rini was very happy to see her. Serena came in and was happy
to see her also. Then she got mad because Rini hadn't offered
anything to their guest. They started arguing over that. Rini
said Serena flunked cooking, and Serena got really mad. Hotaru
had gotten kinda uncomfortable that Serena and Rini were fighting
in front of her, but then she started smiling. She said that
they had a lot of love for each other and that it was nice. They
were surprised.
Hotaru explained her situation. She
had written a letter to Mr. Hayes, but was scared to mail it
to him. Serena suggested that she take the letter to him. Rini
agreed that was a great idea. Hotaru was amazed!
Stadium
Mimet looked around and saw no one.
She grabbed a poster that said "No Unauthorized Persons"
and blew her nose into it. A smiling security officer popped
out of the stadium office. She replaced the poster. He gave her
the "okay". She returned the gesture and slipped away.
Amara, Michelle, and Trista were sitting
in the stands watching Hayes. They thought he would be the next
target
Suddenly, they saw two figures streak
across the field! Amara was surprised- it was Serena and Hotaru!
Three officers were in hot pursuit. They had the same uniforms,
ran exactly in step and blew their whistles in unison.
Serena and Hotaru were surrounded.
Serena demanded to know why they were chasing them. Hayes approached.
The officers marched aside, blowing their whistles in step.
Hotaru was in total awe of him(I would
be, too. He is fine!:)). Serena hissed at her to give him the
letter. She hesitated, but Serena kept pressing her to give it
to him.
There was a breath-taking silence.
Rini was in the back, doing a cheerleading
routine, while Serena continued to prompt Hotaru. But to Hotaru,
time seemed to have stopped. She heard nothing. She started to
hold up her letter, but then changed her mind.
Mimet was steamed that the girls had
gotten in to see Hayes and she didn't. She ripped off her labcoat
and called forth her daimon. The security guards ran towards
the daimon blowing their whistles, but she created a huge flaming
ball and chased them with it. The guards ran and hid in their
office, still blowing their whistles. The daimon charged towards
Hayes.
Serena pulled Hotaru out of the way,
but Hotaru lost a grip on her letter. Her letter was burned and
destroyed by the daimon's flames. Serena dragged her to the grandstand
and hid her in a stairwell. The she ran out and transformed.
Meanwhile, the daimon had cornered
Hayes and knocked him down. She started trying to suck out his
pure heart. Sailor Moon appeared and did her little speech. Mini
Moon was also there. Sailor Moon said she didn't need her there.
The daimon threw a ribbon which tied Sailor Moon and Mini Moon
together at the ankle. They tried to run but fell immediately.
With them helpless, Mimet held Shawn's
head while the daimon sucked the heart out. They then took off
running!
The daimon noticed Hotaru sitting in
the stairwell looking upset. She wanted to know if she was okay.
She didn't know that she had destroyed her letter. She had also
taken Shawn's pure heart, and was acting like nothing had happened.
"KABOOM!!"
The daimon was shot clear across the
field. Amara, Michelle, and Trista realized that this was no
ordinary power that she had. They knew she was dangerous. The
daimon knew she was lucky to have that shell. She wouldn't have
survived them if she didn't.
Mini Moon stuck her head in the shell
and fired her Pink Sugar Heart Attack, while Sailor Moon sat
there, puzzled and annoyed. Then she went to her second form
and destroyed the daimon.
Everyone had gathered around Hotaru,
who seemed to have fainted. She woke up to find Shawn looking
into her eyes. They talked about his childhood. He said that
even now, he would wake up in the morning, thinking he was still
a sick child, and that being a sports star was just a dream.
Hotaru said that she understood. Shawn thanked her and said she
was the first person to have listened to his story from the heart.
Serena and Rini were happy for her. Even the officers were touched
by the scene. they took of their glasses and wiped the tears
from their eyes.
Shawn put his hand on Hotaru's shoulder
and encouraged her to be strong. He said he hoped that she would
become healthy and enjoy sports someday too. She was very happy,
and wished him luck on his next meet.
Later at home, she watched Shawn set
another high-jump record.
