Professor Tomoe's Lab

In the underground lab, the professor called his assistant, Kaorinite. He quizzed her on what their purpose was. The the repeated the steps they needed to accomplish their goal. Three pure hearts hidden within their owners hold special powers. The possessors of the pure hearts will learn the location of the Chalice and be able to use the power. He created another egg and sent it to find a pure heart.

Serena's Dream

The other Scouts were teasing her about not being able to transform. They said all kinds of mean things, Raye worst of all. She said she thinks it's time she retired. Serena got really mad.

Serena's Room

In her dream, she jumped at Raye, she was really strangling Luna. Luna scratched her face to wake her up. When she did wake up, she asked Luna if she would have to retire from the Sailor Scouts. She was worried that the Silver Crystal would never shine again. Luna reassured her that everything would be fine, then suggested that she talk to Darien.

So she went and talked to Darien. He really didn't want to see her that way, so he took her to show her something.

He took her to an old abandoned mansion. There was a high wall around the house, but they entered through a hole where the masonry had crumbled.

Serena looked around the yard. She starting blushing, thinking that Darien had brought her there so they could make out. Darien got a scared look on his face, that I think is pretty hilarious. She closed her eyes and puckered up for a kiss. He held a cute little kitten up, which licked her in the face. She was very surprised. After she finished screaming, she realized it was a cat. Darien said that many stray cats had made a home there.

There was a little girl who always came and fed them. Darien had bought some cat food to help her. Serena was very happy. The little girl explained that the mansion was about to be torn down, so Serena said she would find new homes for them. Darien was surprised by how fast she forgot about her problems. He thought it would be hard to find homes for all of them, but he saw that she was happy, so he didn't say anything.

Meanwhile, the egg floated into someone's bedroom. There was a desk with an almost completed jigsaw puzzle on top. It merged into the puzzle, which coincidentally, was a picture of a cat.

Raye's Room

Serena joined the other girls for a study session. She wanted them to take care of ALL the stray cats!

Mina said Artemis was hard enough to take care. Artemis starting yelling at her, but she knocked him up side the head before he could say anything else. Amy said she was too busy studying to take care of them. Lita said her dad was allergic(her parents are dead, and her dad is allergic. Right!), and Raye said there were too many birds around. Serena got really mad. Then the girls asked why she wouldn't take care of them. She hesitated, then said Luna was really expensive but she ate so much. Luna started yell back at her, but Amy stuffed a sandwich in her mouth. Luna looked surprised, but then started chowing down.

Meanwhile, two of the kittens had followed her home. she told them that she couldn't keep them. She wasn't allowed to have pets in the apartment. She looked around. She let the cats in and said they could stay until her mother got home. They started running around in her room. One of the cats jumped up on her desk, one of her puzzle pieces came out. She went to replace it and she touched it, the piece started to glow, and it morphed into a Daimon!

The little girl fled from the apartment with the two kittens. She ran all the way to the mansion, where she slammed the door and hid. Serena and the others were outside in the garden playing with the cats. Raye thought the cats were cute and said she might keep one. Serena told her to take four or five. Lita scolded her.

Meanwhile, the daimon crashed in to the mansion through a window. The little girl hid in fear. She revealed the black star on her thigh. A beam shot out from the symbol and attacked the girl. Outside, the girls heard the screams.

Luna and Artemis rushed in and attacked the daimon, but she knocked them out the way. Serena tried to transform, but there was no light in the Silver Crystal and nothing happened. The girls transformed. Mars and Jupiter launched a combination attack against the daimon. The daimon used her tail to reflect the attack back at them. Serena tried to attack the daimon, but was knocked against the wall. The daimon used her power and removed the little girl's pure heart. Serena and the Scouts laid helpless.

She removed the pure heart. Suddenly, she was hit by a blue and yellow ball of energy and was torn to pieces. The Scouts looked up to see the shadows of two sailor-suited girls. The mysterious Scouts examined the crystal, and said that the crystal wasn't a pure heart. They returned the crystal to the little girl.

The daimon started to reform. Sailor Venus called them back, saying that if they were real Scouts, they would help them fight. They said their only mission was finding the pure hearts. The daimon attacked the Scouts and used her tail to knock them against the wall. Serena tried to cover the little girl, but the daimon grabbed her by her throat with her tail!

A rose slashed through her tail and it dissolved into puzzle pieces. He landed beside Serena. The daimon attacked again, but he used his extendable cane to pierce her tail straight on. The cane pinned her against the wall. She smiled and snapped the cane in two. She pulled the broken piece out of her body, and attacked with her claws. Tuxedo Mask turned his back to protect Serena and was hit. He threw at the daimon to temporarily blind her. He was badly hurt and told Serena to run. She refused. The daimon attacked, but was thrown back by a magical glow coming from Darien and Serena's hands!

Serena and Darien were magically transported to the Silver Millennium and transformed into Prince Darien and Princess Serena. A new weapon was created, called the Spiral Heart Moon Rod. I'll never forget this. Artemis: "Is that the legendary Moon Spiral Heart Rod?" Serena: "This is the legendary Moon Spiral Heart Rod." That was funny, but anyway, back to the story. Serena's brooch transformed into a heart-shaped brooch and the Silver Crystal transformed into a pink, heart-shaped crystal. Princess Serena said that their love had given new energy to the crystal.

Serena used her new brooch to transform into Sailor Moon, then she used her new attack, the Moon Spiral Heart Attack. She destroyed the daimon, everyone was happy to see that she could transform again.

Later

The girls were in the garden of the mansion. Serena said she had found new owners for all the cats. She said that Raye kept 5, Mina and Amy 2, and Lita kept 1. Raye got really steamed and yelled that they had already told her that they couldn't keep them. Serena said maybe she could take them to the animal shelter. "Why didn't you think of that earlier?!" yelled Raye.
