Our Wedding

Ok, so I woke up really early, and I went to my brother and sister in law's house (david and delilah)
where the wedding celebration and reception was going to be held.
My brother David was rinsing down
the patio area in the back, and he had also set up the floating fountain in the pool. ***so pretty***
My husband, Sean helped David give the backyard a "once over" while I went inside so my sister in law
Delilah could do my hair. (She is a beautician -- what a deal!!) So Delilah puts my hair in these funny
looking squiggily things and I call my sisters Christine and Kim to help me set up the reception area
and the flowers and such. Meanwhile, my maid of honor Michele gets there, and we all started setting up the wedding. Michele
and I went to get our nails done, and when we got back, it was time to get ready.
***WE LOOKED SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL***
My bridesmaid Michelle
(Shelly) - Pink dress, long,
double spagetti straps. Small tiara, hair up.
My maid of
honor Michele (do we see a trend
with Michele's? funny side note: my new sister in law's
name is Michelle too) -- same dress as Shelly and same hairdo almost too. Bigger bouquet though.
Me -- The Bride --
White dress with double spagetti straps, simple, has a train, but hooks up nicely
as well. Satin ballet slipper shoes that tie up my leg. pretty sparley tiara and baby roses in my hair
(just like Usagi!!!)
Sean --
The Groom - Tux w/ silver vest and tie. (very sexy)
Ok, I'm tired of doing descriptions, here's the whole wedding party. The Best Man is my brother David,
the Groomsman is Sean's buddie Ryan, the Flowergirl is my niece Victoria (Tori) and the Ring Bearer is my
nephew Henry

Part 2 -- The Ceremony
Ok, so the ceremony was pretty funny. (I know, you're probably going FUNNY?!?!?!?!?) Let me explain.
Our minister was 88 years old and dying!! I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm serious!! Sean and I wrote
the ceremony ourselves, so it was short, simple and to the point, not long and drug out. (not, our own
vows, just everything that the minister says) So the ceremony begins. Now the minister had 2 paragraphs
to read before the vows. He repeated the second paragraph!!! And he had no idea!!! Everyone was laughing!!
I have a picture of us all cracking up during the ceremony!! ::hahaha:: Then, the minister even commented
on it!! He says "yes, brides usually get nervous and laugh during this part" then we all laughed even
harder!! Ok so then we were pronounced "man and wife" and we took more pictures.

Part 3 -- The Reception

The reception was really
pretty. We put floating candles in the pool around the fountain, and we drank
lots of champange. We had little figures of Prince Darien and Princess Serenity on top of our cake.
My
bridesmaids and I danced a dance all by ourselves (Sean thought it was cute)

Part 4 -- The Honeymoon Suite
No, I didn't put this part in to get all pervy or anything, but this was an important part of our
honeymoon. So we booked this "specialty honeymoon suite" for the wedding night not far from the
wedding celebrations. First, they gave us the wrong room. Then we got in the acutal honeymoon suite.
It was cool it had a big circular bed and a heart shaped jacuzzi. The pillows there were ROCK HARD.
So we woke up the next morning with headaches ((((((((( THIS BIG ))))))))) So we decide we'll get in
the jacuzzi and let the hot water ease our headaches. So we're sitting in the jacuzzi, just starting
to feel better when water starts coming out of the celing and into the jacuzzi!!!!!????!!! Gross!!!
So we get out, and we call the front desk and yell at them, but it's already ruined. So we trash the
hotel room and we get out of there!!! Sorry no pix of this part.
Part 5 -- Honeymoon Plans Foiled
So we booked a cruise to Mexico for our honeymoon adventure and we were very excited becuase neither
of us had ever been on a cruise ship before. We had 7 days and nights in Mexico with 3 ports. Puerto
Vallarta, Mazetlan, and Cabo San Lucas. So we got dropped off at the port, with all of our luggage,
and goodbye kisses from our parents. We have a porter take our luggage onto the ship, and we get in line for boarding.
So we get to the desk to board, and they say that they have to check something about my age because I'm
under 21. So we go to the Enebriation Desk and they look up some stuff. Then this lady comes over and
says "We have a problem" and then proceeds to tell us that we can't board.
!!!!!!!!!WHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!!! So she tells us why. (Please tell me this isn't the worst
thing you've ever heard). I can't board because I'm not 21 years old. I have to have a parent or a
guardian that's 25 years or older with me. So I say to this lady that she's insane to think that I
need a guardian with me if I'm MARRIED and it's my ***honeymoon*** to boot. So then...get this, she
proceeds to tell my husband and I that they had just changed that policy 1 month before we booked. So
they were letting people in the SAME situation as me, get on the boat, because they had booked a month
before me!!! (ok, so I hate Carnival Cruise Lines because they ruined my honeymoon plans and I am
**so** writing a formal complaint letter to their corporate office) So I break down in tears for 3 hours
and they delay the ship for 2 hours while they find our luggage (can you believe they actually tried to
get us to let them take our luggage all the way to Mexico? they're nuts!!) So Sean called our parents, told them the bad news and they came and picked us up from the port. Sorry no pix of this part either.
Part 6 -- Attempts to Salvage a Horrible Day
So our parents booked Sean and I a room in a hotel in Pismo Beach. (Way too close to home for a honeymoon, but it was only for one night, and it was better than going home after our honeymoon plans were ruined.) Pismo is a nice beach area
about 3 hours North of Los Angeles. I told my Mom that I wanted to try to salvage the honeymoon and go somewhere else, but FLY there (and to make sure they didn't have a 21 or older only rule!! ) since she had charged our cruise on her credit card. We had a nice Itallian dinner at Palazzios (a Casilli family favorite) on our way up the coast. <3 After the nice
dinner, we checked in to the Kon Tiki Hotel around Midnight. I took a nice bath, and went to sleep. (What
a day)
Part 7 -- The New Plan
The next morning was nice. We slept in and had breakfast on our balcony overlooking the ocean. Then my
Mom called our room with the news. My Mom went down to AAA (who we used as our travel agent) at 9 am,
when they open... "I want to speak to the Director!!! You ruined my daughters' honeymoon!!!" So AAA
offers my Mom 11 days and 10 nights in Maui Hawai'i ;D ***yay*** So our flight left the next day at
noon. Sean and I decided to stay that night in Pismo, and wake up before dawn to drive back to LA to
take our flight to Maui.
Part 8 -- The Honeymoon finally begins
So we check in at the counter, where our tickets are "in the computer" so we go there and tell the
ticketer that we're in the computer. She proceeds to tell us that we need our tickets. We all turned
green with worry. I told her, "no, we're in there." So the ticketer found our tickets (wheeeww) and we of
course had to tell her the whole story. So she gave us free headphone and drink vouchers for the plane.
At Noon on August 28th, we flew from LAX to Kahalui, Maui. We landed and walked through
the terminal, to be "Leid" by Pleasent Hawaiian Holidays who has transport for us to our Hotel in
Kaanapali Shores on the West Coast of Maui Island.

Our room was outstanding. We had a large room with a couch that turned into a bed, a tv, and a full
service kitchen and a dining table. A large balcony with a breakfast nook, a large bedroom with a king
size bed and a large tv, a big bathroom and even a washer and dryer. Our view was a botanical tropical
garden, with waterfalls and everything as well as the beach, with crystal green / blue waters <3.

Activies we did in Maui:
Scuba Diving -- Our first time. We liked it sooo much that we want to get certified. We even
caught an Octopus!!

Snorkeling in Molokini -- a cresent shaped crater which is a bird and marine sanctuary just
off the coast of Maui.
Helicopter Ride -- Traveled over the islands of Maui, Lanai'i, Molakai, and even saw the Big
Island from a distance.
Luau -- We went to a Luau called drums of the Pacific where Sean had at least 15 Mai Tai's
and could barely make it back to the Hotel ::hehe::
Ulalena -- A Circus Solei type of Hawaiian show with acrobatics, dancing and song showing
the mythical and real story of Hawai'i.
Maui Ocean Center -- Largest Aquarium on the West Coast of the U.S. had lots of sharks, tropical
fish, sea turtles, and even a touching pond.
The Road to Hana -- The Southern part of the Island, all tropical rainforest. I swam under
a waterfall and we also visited the legendary Twin Falls, and the Seven
Sacred Pools.
We also did our own snorkeling around the reef right on the beach of our hotel.
We saw every sunset on the beach and I have the most beautiful pictures and <3 romantic
<3 memories on the beach with my hubby <3 (I even wrote our names in the sand)
So then we flew home and it was back to work for us...But we will go back to Maui, that's
for sure, if we don't move there permenatly
I hope everybody liked my adventure if you even read all of it
